Introducing...

...the new addition to our family! The last infertility treatment was a success. While I thought it was a failed treatment because I was bleeding the night before the blood test was to be taken, the results came back positive. Another blood test was ordered two days after the initial one to confirm the pregnancy and the numbers went up from 105 to 319 for the Beta hCg. That's a good sign! The pregnancy was going well for a few weeks until yesterday afternoon. I began to bleed again. I called the Advice Nurse and they scheduled an appointment for an ultrasound this morning to figure out what was going on. I thought to myself that I couldn't believe this was happening again as it happened with my pregnancy with Jacob. I was sure they were going to prescribe prometrium for the next couple of weeks, but to my surprise, they didn't. The doctor explained that we might not see much on the screen because I'm only 6 weeks 4 days pregnant...BUT we did! We saw the baby's heartbeat. It was amazing. The doctor said the heartbeat was strong and both Jeremiah and I felt a sigh of relief that everything was going to be okay. It was actually the first thing we both noticed when we saw the baby on the screen. We have been blessed with another opportunity to have a baby and we are so grateful and humble to be given this chance again. We are so HAPPY
