My kids...

My students are awesome! They crack me up. Many of them have been wondering why I've been leaving work early, on last minute notice, for my crazy doctor appointments. When I decided to talk to them, many of the girls were making these funny noises hoping that I'd reveal I was pregnant! When I said I wasn't, they were all like..."Awwwwww!" Then, one said, "Are you dying?" LOL...hahaha...that was so cute (the way they asked was cute). Another asked, "Do you have cancer?" Then, the best one was, "Do you have lumps on your chest?" Hahaha...these kids are funny! I finally told them that my body wasn't functioning like a 'normal' 28 year old female and that I needed help. They said they noticed my mood swings, but were afraid to say anything because they didn't want to get a referral or lose their recess!! Hahaha...anyway, they are happy that I don't have to leave like that again until another couple of weeks, but they really made me feel loved and I had such a great time talking about it.

Today funnies: One student looked at my wedding picture on my phone and said, "Mrs. Sorensen, not to be mean or anything, but why don't you look like you used to? I mean, you are still pretty, but you seriously need some makeup!" I laughed so hard. It's true, I need makeup.
