Day 2: San Antonio's Children's Museum

On our second day of our vacation, we took the kids to the Children's Museum. They had so much fun there, so did we!! The pictures are somewhat out of order because I had clicked something and it changed something. Sorry!! We took so many pictures that it was just so hard to choose which to post on the blog!!

Here, Taylor chooses to slide down this carpet area instead of the actual slide, which is to his left. Jacob kept laughing at him and saying, "What the?!?!" That kid is so funny. I wish I didn't cut off his eyes. It would have been an awesome picture.

Jake posing for me before coming down the slide.
Crawler's heaven for little Ms. Emma.
She got stuck.
Isn't she the cutest???
She gets so ambitious some times and doesn't realize she's not as strong as she thinks. Jer and I kept having to put our hands behind her back in case she tipped over.
Jake is such a great big brother. He loves his "Emmie." He calls her that and won't call her Emma for some reason...is it a big brother thing?!?!
Boys at play. I loooove children's museums. I love that they get to explore and learn new things!
Jake in the cockpit. He was in there for a while.
Taylor in the control center...
See...he was in there for quite some time pushing buttons and all sorts of stuff.
The little one getting tired...shortly after this picture, she fell asleep.
The kids went shopping at their own little grocery store...even the loud noises didn't wake Emma out. She was exhausted from playing!
The boys really enjoyed this area. AND they were awesome with putting things back where they belonged.
If Taylor could, he would stay in this play area all day. The kid loves playing with balls.
Jake driving the trolley...look out!!!
Taylor was overwhelmed with everything in the museum...he had to climbed on and touch everything...with one of us nearby! If he saw anyone else other than Jer or myself...he went on freak mode. Poor kid...I just feel so bad. If he only knew that we'd never leave him, he'd just feel so much better.
Jake, the bank teller! The boys love coins and are learning that they are of value (part of their reward program at home), so they were really sad when we had to leave this area. See pics below.
Jer teaching them how to use the atm...instead of pulling out money, Taylor kept trying to shove dollars into the thing.
Emma waiting ever so patiently while her big brothers play.
See...he didn't want to leave the bank...Mr. Pouty.
Until...Daddy showed them what else they could play with and frowns turned into curiousity...
Curiousity turned into happiness...
Building cars to see who will win the big race.
Building away...
Taylor says, "Cheethz."
And results are in...DADDY won! Sorry Jake. Good try though. You had best looking car!
Learning to build buildings to see if they'd survive an earthquake. The first two tries, the building completely fell apart. The third time, the foundation stayed strong! Jake loved this activity. Taylor tried kicking his blocks down...can you tell?
Emma getting restless while waiting for the results...
And it's good!!
Building tall towers with daddy.
Jake ringing me up for some Thanksgiving food!!
Taylor kept laughing at us for some reason...I think he was playing hide and seek...by himself...thinking we were playing with him??? He's funny.
Ms. Emma is free from straps!! She's so adorable.
Free play!
