Day 1: San Antonio Zoo

We took a mini vacation before Jeremiah's rough work schedule for the holidays. We drove to San Antonio, which took us about 2 1/2 hours and the kids did awesome in the car. We stayed at the Hyatt which was right off the Riverwalk. On our first day there, we took the kids to the San Antonio Zoo. It is a goooorrrrgeous zoo with beautiful landscapes and greeneries.

Here is a lucky snapshot of Taylor and Jeremiah. They are so handsome.
At first, Taylor wanted to held, but when he saw the "an-mals" he got down and darted off! He keep saying, "Ooooooo" with those puckering lips...it was so much fun to see how much he enjoyed every little thing.
Jacob had a blast as well...running, screaming, laughing, and yelling all around the zoo. Since it was a weekday, it wasn't very busy so we felt we had the zoo all to ourselves! It was perfect!
Love the enthusiasm. It makes me smile!
Life is hard should be Taylor's daily motto...the kid is freaked out whenever he is separated from any of us. I would say that nursery has had this traumatic affect on him. :(
Jake was choking Jeremiah...I take a while when snapping pictures.
Look at the beautiful green vines!! OH and the cute boys in the picture too!
We could NOT get this kid to leave this area! He kept running from one block to another singing the abc song..."d..e..f..g" is all he knows.
Taylor said cheese, but he never looks at the camera. Love this picture.
The kids loved spotting pumpkins all over the zoo.
The petting part of the zoo...yuck for me.
We finally took her out of the stroller (she is so good in it) and she was soooo happy.
She loves throwing her hands all over the place. It's her way of playing.
We purchased some nectar for these birds and all I have to say is that I'm glad I stayed outside and didn't go inside. Otherwise, I'd look just like Taylor, but a little more hysterical. The kids did great. Jake was a little scared.
Dippin dots ice cream is so yummy.
Taylor fascinated with the rhinos.
We bribed him with graham crackers to get this picture.
He desperately wanted some so he gave us his cheesiest smile. :)
Beautiful landscape and handsome boys makes for an awesome picture!
:)
Waiting at the train depot for our train ride around Breckinridge Park.
My cute little family. Love them to pieces!
She was so happy.
Pictures of animals for the boys to see. The boys love to look at the blog and every time they see pictures of animals, they get so excited...so Taylor and Jacob, these are pictures for you. Love you so much!
