Flying Helicopter

Jeremiah bought the boys their first remote controlled helicopter. It was so much fun watching them play! To be quite honest, Jacob flew the helicopter wayyyyy better than Jer. All I can say is from observation, Jacob never flew the helicopter onto the street nor underneath a car. Hahaha! He's a quick learner.
Side notes: I had a phone conference with his teacher this evening and boy am I proud of my son!! I tried not to be so cheesy over the phone, but she had so many great things to say about Jacob...and none of it were sugar glossing because a lot of his good and not so great behaviors are parallel to what I see at home. Jake is the youngest one in his pre-k class. Ms. Kim calls him his little baby (to me, not him). Socially, Jake mingles with all the kids and wants to please. He's definitely a follower and he has one friend that he absolutely adores at school. I believe this is because we were invited to his bday party a few months back. Anyway, Jacob tends to get carried away with the boys in the class and runs in the classroom when too excited...which I see at home. Other than that, he follows directions and participates in class. He is one of the top excelling students in the class. He is able to identify 24 of 26 upper case letters (don't know why he doesn't know all 26), counts and identifies # 1-10 (he can actually count up to 49), and identifies all shapes and colors. She said with being the youngest one in the class, she is so impressed as the other 5 year olds are not as academically proficient as Jake. :D I am so so so so proud of him!! Love him so much. Right now, he is learning how to tell digital time. He hasn't learned how to count in 5's, but as soon as he does, he will definitely know how to tell time with a manual clock because he is already just with the short hand. Oh and Jacob knows our address and my phone number now...on top of the pledge of allegiance (both USA and Texas) and a few more things. I love his school. They really work with the kids...they are so devoted.
Watching her brothers play...she was extremely patient.

Do you notice something about Jacob? Yes, that would be a helmet. He insisted on having it on while flying the helicopter. Very funny, but so cute.
Tay wakes up and joins the crowd. He absolutely loved it!
