My parents were so awesome that they sacrificed three weeks of their lives to come help us transition Emma into the family. Many a times, my mother and I spent dressing Emma up in pretty dresses and bows, while my the boys jumped and wrestled on KongKong. It was definitely hard to have them leave. It was very emotional and I didn't know how I would be after their leaving. BUT then, my mother in law came to the rescue and helped us out for another two weeks and Grandpa came the last week she was there. When everyone left, it was quiet and lonely...but that didn't last long. I have two boys and a newborn, remember?!?!?

He definitely had it the hardest! Poor baby Taylor was only 13 months old and did not understand a thing of what was going on in the house. All he knew was I want mommy and I want her now or you will not hear the end of it!!! Let's just say it was one of the hardest periods of my life. I often found myself crying because I felt I couldn't make any of my kids happy or happy long enough. It was tough. But now, if you only you could see how close Taylor is to Emma. It is just lovely to watch how he coddles her, kisses her, hugs her, and he just looooves her so much. When she wakes up from her nap, he runs to her door and says, "Emmaahhhh??? Emmaaahhh?" It is precious. He has more good days with Emma than not so good days.
