Summer Fun in Utah

I've finally taken some time to post pictures from our trip to Utah. Aunt Monica and Uncle Daniel picked us up from the airport and took us to lunch at Gateway in Salt Lake City. (By the way, Jacob was so good on the plane because he fell asleep right when we took off! It was perfect!) Lunch was so yummy. We went to the Chocolate Mountain Factory for dessert. Can you guess what Jacob wanted? [Don't forget to check out three more posts (Memorial Day, Bean Museum, and Children's Discovery Museum)below this one. There are lots of pictures of outtings in Utah.]
This Aunt Monica aka E-Ca.

We finally arrived at Grandma Sorensen's house and Jacob was thrilled to be able to run and roam around Grandma's garden! It was so green and beautiful!
Erin was so excited to see Jacob. She was his best friend the whole time we were there. She is so good with him and we've missed her dearly since we've left Utah.
Watching Koda and Kessi run around the garden...he loves dogs.

Jacob wouldn't let Grandpa hold him.

Eli asked me to take this picture of him. He's so cute. Eli is Jacob's cousin. They are 1 year and 2 days apart.
This is my gorgeous Erin Kay. She is Eli's sister and Jacob's cousin. She will be turning 9 years old this October!

This is my sister Sokee or Sokimna. We are only 14 months in age apart. I miss having her close by, but she has learned how to text, so it's been fun!
Jacob being a mischief in the house. He keeps me on my toes...he gets into EVERYTHING! Playing outside before heading to Grandpa's BYU Ward, in which he asked me to share my testimony. I did not sleep all night because I was so nervous and excited, all at the same time. I had been wanting to visit the Brothers and Sisters of his ward for quite some time. You see, they've donated baby blankets to the NICU where Jacob was born for a couple of years and I wanted to thank them personally for all that they've done. They will always be special to us!!

Grandma Sorensen is so beautiful and youthful. We love her so much!

Playing on the slip n' slide at Erin's. It was so much fun! Jake threw a fit when I brought him in to take a bath.
Sokimna's awesome slip n' slide run...I promised not to upload the video. I'm sorry...it's classic though! =D
Erin is so good on the slide. She's an expert slider.
Jacob loves the water!
Here he is trying to fill up his bucket with water. He was trying to copy me from minutes before.
This is our last day at Grandma's before staying a few days with Erin. As I was trying to clean the room, Jacob decided to jump on the bed...like a monkey...he didn't fall this time, but did big time when we came home and tried to show daddy. =(
