Jacob had a good day. He had nurse Maria so he was sure to put on a show for her today. He tends to be silly for her! =) He was a bit fussy during kangaroo care because he had a poopie diaper. After we put him back on his bed and changed his diaper, he just laid there staring at me and my mom. It was really cute. His eyes were wide open!Everything else is pretty much the same as far as feeding, medication, and bowel movements. His weight tonight is 2 lbs. 13.4 oz...it went up! Yay! His oxygen pressure is at 2 mL. Maybe he'll be on the nasal cannula tomorrow if he's okay tonight.

I just love looking forward to your posts... Jacob is really growing! I love the peek-a-boo picture on the right side of your blog.
Each of the pictures on this posts shows a different side of his personality. Does he like to be on his tummy? He looks so coy in that last one.
The nurses in the NICU at Dameron are amazing and I could not imagine anyone else caring for a preemie like this. Enjoy your kangaroo time, I wish the chairs we are suppose to get from my son's kangaroo care fund were there for you to enjoy, but I understand they have restarted their search for the perfect chair.
God is good - Jacob is living proof!

Soooo sorry, was busy today!! :) feel like I tried getting over to talk to you at least 19 times today!
I do check in on little Jacob each morning, as I get there at 0630 each time and head over to him asking how his night was....the a's and b's are less..I am soo happy!! and his cute outfits! goodness!
I hope that you are all coming to the meeting Thursday? Please bring along all of your concerns so we can talk about them k?
