Sticking his tongue out...

He won't go to sleep after being awake for 3 hours!

Jacob is doing very well. He does not have a feeding schedule anymore...he basically eats when he wants to. He eats from 40 mL to 140 mL at any given feeding time. At the end of the day, the amount of daily intake is pretty much the same. Sometimes he wants LOTS and sometimes he doesn't! Because I'm not working this school year, it's easier for me to accommodate my schedule to his. The hardest part is when he wants to be awake in the wee hours! The video of him crying above is an example!

Jacob is still on reglan and pepcid. The doctor increased it from 0.15 mL to 0.3 mL because of his weight gain. He's also on iron. The blood results from last week showed that his numbers decreased again...but the doctor is not worried YET. We have to take him in next week for another test.

We don't know what Jacob's current weight is, but we know he's growing. I guess we're doing something right! =)

Things are kind of quiet now...Jeremiah went back to work on Dec. 1st after taking 3 weeks off for paternity leave and the family is gone. It was nice having Jeremy home...he's such a great husband. He's so good with Jacob too...he has lots of patience. He takes over when I appear to be "kinda" stressed. He's really good with reading my emotions. Jacob and I miss him a lot when he's at work. We always look forward to his days off...

We are so excited to spend this christmas with Jacob...it's his first! I do miss the shopping though...we don't want to take Jacob to the mall and expose him to any type of viral infections, so I will be doing my shopping online! And...be on the look out for our greeting/birth announcement cards this month!! We love you all.

My blessing!

My dad is getting me ready for my blessing.
I'm ready now.
My mommy, daddy, and me...for time and eternity.
The time has come...my parents have been waiting for a very long time for this day. It's finally here!
I was asleep the whole time during the blessing. My dad gave me the sweetest blessing and I can't wait to fulfill the words he spoke. My mommy and daddy promised to always be there with me to guide and direct me. I feel so loved.

Great grandma and Aunt Monica was there...
So was my KongKong and MaMa...
And...the whole Sorensen clan...Grandpa Sorensen was the only one smiling...everyone else was busy talking...hehehe
My time to rock n' roll...don't I look bad?!?
My mom and her 'dressing me up' moments...

I love my mommy!
My cousins, Zoe and Isabel...where is Jason?
My cousin Rengsey and Grandpa Horn...I can't wait until I'm big enough to play with Junior
Aunt Tevy loves holding me. Here, she's giving my mom a break.
I fell asleep in the stroller while Grandma was putting up the Christmas tree.
Grandma's work of art...and...tons of presents for her 12 grandkids!

Today is was a lot of fun. It's great being around family and feeling their love and joy. We are so happy to know that families are forever! We are so grateful on this Thanksgiving day for the opportunity we have to be parents. It is a great blessing and we can't wait to raise Jacob in the gospel and be surrounded by our loving families. As a matter of fact, today would have been Jacob's original due date.

"Grandma Sorensen made this beautiful quilt all for me! I love it! It's so soft...I fell asleep on it after my mommy and daddy gave me a bath!"
I'm so happy!
"I love taking a bath...it makes me smell good!"
"I love it when my daddy sings and reads to me, but my mommy...she usually makes me cry when she sings!" =)

"Life is good."
